C/U plane combined Test Configuration with External Device

The logical configuration of a C/U-plane combined performance testing with an external device, shown in figure 1, is based on the same configuration used for C/U-plane performance tests. The diagram shows external devices connected to the simulated S-GW and the simulated UEs. Examples of external devices include voice quality testers, application servers, etc. Table 1 gives details on some external devices that can be connected for C/U-plane performance testing.
